Singapore’s iconic Thai Supermarket, fondly known as “Little Thailand” since 1985, is marking four decades of heritage with the launch of Thai Market by Thai Supermarket at Jurong Point. This second outlet brings a bigger taste of Thailand to the West, expanding the brand’s legacy of blending authentic flavours with vibrant lifestyle experiences.
From its early days at Golden Mile Complex to its 6,000 sqft flagship at Aperia Mall in 2023, Thai Supermarket has grown from a humble grocer into a full-fledged Thai lifestyle hub. The new 2,500 sqft Thai Market continues this journey, offering over 2,000 curated Thai products ranging from pantry staples and sauces to popular snacks, drinks, and cooking essentials, making it easier than ever for Singaporeans to enjoy the flavours of Thailand at home.
Shoppers can also discover Singapore’s first Thai Instant Noodle Wall, a playful street-culture-inspired installation where customers can mix, match, and even enjoy instant noodles and cup porridge on the spot: a fun, photo-worthy addition to the grocery experience.
Foodies are in for a treat too, with two takeaway kiosks bringing the buzz of Bangkok’s streets to Jurong Point:
As the brand celebrates its 40th anniversary, Thai Supermarket is setting its sights on the future with plans to expand Thai Market outlets across Singapore’s North, East, and Central regions. Its in-house brand, Talad Thai Banana, is also gearing up for growth with new outlets in the pipeline, continuing the mission of bringing the richness of Thai flavours and culture into everyday life.
