SG60 Concert at OTH Unites 5,000 in Music, Heritage, and Giving

Our Tampines Hub (OTH) celebrated Singapore’s 60th birthday with an evening of song, solidarity, and nostalgia at the SG60 Concert, which drew an audience of 5,000. Co-organised by OTH, Tampines GRC and Tampines Changkat SMC Grassroots Organisations, the milestone event showcased the enduring charm of Xinyao and Minge music in bringing communities together.

Graced by Minister Masagos Zulkifli and Mr Desmond Choo, the three-hour concert featured powerful performances by Xinyao icons Li Feihui and Hong Shao Xuan, alongside international Minge stars Yvonne Cheng, Michelle Pan, and Chyi Yu. Audiences were treated to beloved classics that bridged generations and celebrated the unifying power of music.

More than a cultural celebration, the event embodied OTH’s spirit of giving back. Ticket sales raised 7,780 for the North East Community Development Council (NE CDC), presented by Mr Peter Lam, Chairman of Tampines Central CCMC, to Ms Elizabeth Teo, Chairperson of Care Pillar, NE CDC. Proceeds will go towards supporting vital community programmes.
