Acclaimed comedian, actor, and author Jimmy O. Yang will perform in Malaysia for the very first time with his “Big & Tall” world tour, happening 23 November 2025 at the Idea Live Arena. Presented by Bohm Presents and LOL Asia, the one-night-only show promises an evening of sharp wit, hilarious storytelling, and relatable observations.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Los Angeles, Jimmy’s journey from immigrant teenager to Hollywood headliner has shaped his signature comedic voice. He first made waves as the scheming Jian-Yang in HBO’s Silicon Valley, before stealing scenes as Bernard Tai in Crazy Rich Asians. His versatility has since taken him from leading man in Netflix’s Love Hard to a role in Hulu’s Interior Chinatown, directed by Oscar-winner Taika Waititi.
Beyond the screen, Jimmy is a powerhouse on stage. With two hit Amazon Prime Video specials (Good Deal and Guess How Much?), his stand-up explores immigrant life, cultural identity, and the pursuit of the “American dream”. He’s also the author of the bestselling memoir How to American: An Immigrant’s Guide to Disappointing Your Parents, a heartfelt and humorous look at his unconventional path to success.
Already a sell-out in iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, New York, the “Big & Tall” tour is Jimmy’s most ambitious yet. Malaysian fans can finally catch him live, delivering the kind of comedy that’s equal parts smart, silly, and deeply relatable.
Tickets for Jimmy O. Yang’s “Big & Tall” Malaysia show are available at LOLAsia and fantopia, starting from RM188.
