Mandopop’s “Queen of Love Ballads” Where Chou to Perform in Singapore for One Night Only

Mandopop’s beloved “Queen of Love Ballads,” Where Chou, is finally bringing her signature voice and timeless hits to our shores. Presented by Base Entertainment Asia, her one-night-only concert, Be Your Happy Self, will take place on 21 November 2025 at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands. This marks her first-ever full-scale live performance in Singapore, making it a long-awaited moment for fans who have followed her 25-year career.

A Career of Love, Hope, and Resilience

Renowned for her clear, emotive vocals and poignant storytelling, Where Chou has become a cornerstone of Mandopop, weaving songs that explore love, hope, and resilience. Her career highlights include acclaimed albums like Blossoming (2007), Room of One’s Own (2011), The World I See (2013), Not to Be Forgotten (2018), and Not to Be Forgotten 2 (2022), capped with a special 25th anniversary collection in 2024.

Her connection to Singapore dates back to 2000, when she received the Best New Artist Award at the Singapore Golden Melody Awards, an early milestone that introduced her to local fans. Now, she returns to honour that bond with a heartfelt live performance.

Opening with her signature track Promise, the setlist will span beloved hits such as I Don’t Want You to Know and I Want to Love You Well, reimagined for today’s audiences while retaining the nostalgic warmth that first captured hearts.
