This August, Bǎo Bāo is turning up the heat for Singapore’s 60th birthday with a spicy, flavour-packed tribute to one of the nation’s most iconic dishes. Introducing the limited-edition Chilli Crab Bao—a bold new bite that captures the essence of Singapore in one fluffy, fiery mouthful.
Crafted with premium crab meat and a rich, house-made rempah featuring candlenut, lemongrass, galangal, belachan, and three types of chilli, this bao delivers deep local flavour with every bite. It’s all wrapped in Bǎo Bāo’s signature handmade dough, naturally fermented for up to 14 hours to achieve that perfect balance of lightness, chew, and satisfying texture.
Available from 1–31 August 2025 at just $2.80 each, this SG60 exclusive is more than just a snack—it’s a celebration of heritage, spice, and hometown pride.
