Grammy and Golden Globe-winning composer Kitaro is set to enchant Singapore once again with his timeless soundscapes. As part of his 2025 World Tour, THE BEST OF KITARO WORLD TOUR IN SINGAPORE will take place on 17 September 2025 (Wednesday), 8PM at The Star Theatre.
Presented by JP Entertainment, Shaw Brothers Live Entertainment, and FriedRice Entertainment, this highly anticipated one-night-only performance marks Kitaro’s grand return to Singapore, bringing with him a message of peace, unity, and inner reflection through his iconic music.
Kitaro has spent over four decades pioneering the world of New Age and instrumental music. His signature fusion of electronic synthesis, traditional Japanese instrumentation, and Western melodies has won him 17 Grammy nominations, a Grammy win, and a Golden Globe for his stirring Heaven & Earth score.
From his early solo debut Astral Voyage to his breakout score for The Silk Road, and collaborations with icons like Mickey Hart (Grateful Dead) and Jon Anderson (Yes), Kitaro’s work continues to transcend generations and borders. His latest live album, Zen: Live in Katsuyama, recorded before Japan’s tallest seated Buddha, celebrates spiritual reflection with a powerful new taiko-driven piece, Prayer for Mother Earth.
Audiences in Singapore will be treated to some of Kitaro’s most beloved works, including “Matsuri”, “Caravansary”, and the epic “Heaven and Earth”, in what promises to be a soulful, immersive musical experience.
