Hong Kong Disneyland Kicks Off 20th Anniversary With “The Most Magical Party of All!”

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has officially launched its 20th anniversary celebration in spectacular style with The Most Magical Party of All!—a year-long event that promises nonstop enchantment, dazzling entertainment, and unforgettable moments for guests of all ages.

The celebration began with a bang as more than 1,000 invited guests—including celebrities, influencers, and media from Asia and the U.S.—lined Main Street, U.S.A. to witness Mickey Mouse and friends, including Duffy and Friends, debut their sparkling 20th anniversary party outfits. With live music, energetic performers, and a theme song that had the crowd dancing, the magic crescendoed into a breathtaking drone and fireworks show that lit up the night sky above the Castle of Magical Dreams.

A Fantasyland Afterparty Like No Other

The magic carried on into the night with an electrifying afterparty in Fantasyland. Guests grooved to Disney hits spun by a live DJ, laughed with characters roaming the area, and cheered as Mickey rode Dumbo the Flying Elephant past the crowd. Disney Princesses added regal charm as they waved from the Cinderella Carousel, creating dreamlike moments for everyone.

Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle!

This exclusive concert-style show in front of the Castle of Magical Dreams brings together Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Duffy and Friends, and Disney Princesses Aurora, Tiana, and Belle—all in never-before-seen party outfits. With high-energy choreography and vibrant effects, it’s a must-see spectacle.

Friendtastic! Parade

The biggest parade in HKDL history is rolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with 11 show-stopping floats and appearances by over 30 Disney characters. Look out for:

• Mickey Mouse drumming live on the opening float
• Duffy and all six friends appearing together for the first time
• Zootopia’s debut float, complete with a Hong Kong-inspired skyline
• Big Hero 6’s Megabot puppets in action

The nighttime spectacular returns bigger than ever with a new 20th anniversary prelude, nearly 200 scenes, and appearances by Genie, Fairy Godmother, Duffy and Friends, and more. With 3D projections, lasers, water effects, drones, and fireworks, the show transforms Main Street, U.S.A. into a breathtaking immersive journey through Disney’s most beloved stories.
