Skechers Unveils SkechVibe Singapore Edition with Illustrator Erika Tay Ahead of SG60

Skechers is turning heads and sparking local pride with the launch of its SkechVibe Singapore Edition, a vibrant collaboration with homegrown illustrator Erika Tay (@erikartoon). The regional initiative—which first debuted in Malaysia this April—lands in Singapore just in time for the nation’s SG60 celebrations, transforming everyday fashion into wearable art inspired by local culture.

The exclusive SkechVibe collection features three unisex oversized T-shirts and two unisex tote bags, all designed by Erika in her signature playful style. Drawing from Singapore’s iconic wildlife, national symbols, and community spirit, each piece tells a story of pride, progress, and personality.

A Canvas of Culture

The SkechVibe initiative spans Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, spotlighting local artists and reimagining national identity through art-infused apparel. In Singapore, Erika’s expressive illustrations breathe life into ultra-soft cotton tees and statement totes, combining comfort with creativity.

Design Highlights

Design A – Otterly Cool with Skechers: A cheeky otter lounges in Skechers Foamies, holding a fish-shaped ice cream cone, set against the Singapore skyline—celebrating local wildlife, joy, and togetherness.

Design B – Ride Into Adventure: A nostalgic nod to Bugis Junction, this piece features a boy biking with a kopi packet, framed by shophouses, high-rises, and retro snack stickers—honouring Singapore’s evolving urban identity.

Design C – Step Into Adventure: Marking 60 years of progress, this bold graphic shows a boy and pigeon walking side by side in Skechers Hotshot sneakers, trailed by flames symbolising energy and motion.

The tote bags pack just as much personality:

  • Tote A: An otter in oversized shades and a cap throws double thumbs up in full swagger mode.
  • Tote B: A bold red pigeon rocks a Skechers bucket hat and wings-up pose, adding instant urban flair.

In-Store Celebrations at Bugis Junction
