From now till 22 June, CLOVE at Swissôtel The Stamford is serving up its most indulgent dinner buffet yet—Lobster & Beer Fest. This buffet offers unlimited servings of Maine lobster prepared in a variety of Asian and European styles, paired with free-flow Paulaner beer.
Behind the menu is Chef Vijay, Director of Culinary and also known as Singapore’s King of Lobster. Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Chef Vijay brings his Malaysian heritage into the spotlight, combining bold regional flavours with techniques he’s picked up from around the world.
The variety of lobster dishes on offer is impressive, and everything is incredibly fresh and flavourful.
A must-try is the Lobster Laksa—tender lobster pieces simmered in a rich, aromatic broth made with fresh farm-grown laksa leaves. For those who enjoy a bit of spice, the Mala Lobster delivers a satisfying kick, while the Kam Heong version brings that unmistakable wok hei. There’s also the classic Lobster Thermidor, for those that like a western twist.
Beyond the lobster, guests can explore an extensive spread of fresh sushi, seafood and a well-stocked dessert section featuring both local favourites and sweet treats to end the night on a high note.
Pro tip: Come hungry. You’ll want room for second (and third) helpings.
