The journey to crown Singapore’s next inspirational queen has officially begun. ZETRIX Miss Universe Singapore 2025 (MUSG2025), presented by Beyond Entity Sdn Bhd, has announced the open casting call for its next edition—this time in partnership with leading agency Basic Models.
Starting Monday, 2 June 2025, aspiring candidates can apply online via msuniverse.sg. Shortlisted participants will be invited to a closed-door audition on 29 June, held from 10AM to 4PM at the Basic Models Studio.
Miss Universe Singapore 2025 continues to push boundaries in the world of pageantry. Following the success of last year’s most inclusive edition to date—with finalists that included a single mother, a transgender advocate, and a body-positive entrepreneur—this year’s competition reaffirms its commitment to diversity, empowerment, and purpose-driven beauty.
Age, marital status, or parenthood are no longer barriers. MUSG2025 invites women from all backgrounds who have the vision, voice, and courage to make an impact on the global stage.
Joining forces with Basic Models marks a major milestone for the competition. As the official casting and talent partner, the agency brings its deep industry expertise and a legacy of success. It represents past Miss Universe Singapore winner Cheryl Chou and first runner-up Tanisha Khan, alongside international names like Layla Ong, Aimee Cheng-Bradshaw, and Xixi Lim.
Post-crowning, Basic Models will manage the winner and extend contracts to the top three finalists, opening doors to careers in media, entertainment, and brand partnerships.
The MUSG2025 winner will receive a SGD $10,000 cash prize and a coveted Orchard Scotts Dental Smile Makeover worth SGD $20,000—a signature prize that has been empowering Singapore’s pageant representatives since 2009. Runners-up will also receive cash prizes and career opportunities through Basic Models.
In celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence, MUSG2025 becomes more than just a pageant—it’s a platform to honour resilience, ambition, and local talent. As Singaporeans look back on six decades of progress, this year’s edition calls on homegrown brands to collaborate and champion the next generation of empowered women.
