Monstrous Fun! returns from 30 May to 1 June 2025 with its biggest edition yet—featuring Singapore’s first-ever Monster Parade, interactive arts experiences, musical performances, and hands-on workshops for kids and families.
Organised by Arts House Limited (AHL), as part of Civic District Children’s Season 2025, the three-day festival transforms The Arts House at The Old Parliament into a vibrant playground of creativity and literary exploration for children aged five and up.
Join Singapore’s very first Monster Parade as families march through the Civic District dressed in DIY costumes and monster gear, led by fan-favourite monster Britney. The parade begins daily at 4:30pm—don’t forget your homemade instruments!
Cultural Medallion recipient and jazz icon Louis Soliano brings music and imagination together in Drum-A-Story, a rhythmic workshop, and a digital session titled Rhythmic Exploration with Louis Soliano.
Presented by Open Score Project, this interactive performance invites kids to create their own beats as they groove to Southeast Asian-inspired tunes in a whimsical musical journey.
Uncover clues and secret spots inside The Arts House in a monster-themed treasure hunt co-designed with students from SOTA.
Add a message or drawing to the growing outdoor artwork A Message to My Little Monster and help bring a giant, collaborative creation to life.
Explore multilingual stories in English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil with curated selections from Crimson Earth and Pepper Dog Press.
And that’s not all—extend your family’s arts adventure with a stop at Little SIFA, the Singapore International Festival of Arts’ dedicated children’s zone just steps away on Empress Lawn.
