This year, La Haute Croissanterie pays homage to the native flowers and flavours of seven Sofitel destinations: South Korea, France, Morocco, Mexico, Australia, Benin, and the UAE
Sofitel, the hallmark of French luxury hospitality, is elevating the art of pastry with the debut of its first-ever limited-edition La Haute Croissanterie Blossoms collection. Launching in May 2025 across seven Sofitel hotels worldwide, this exquisite offering pays homage to the beauty of florals and French haute couture, infusing delicate blooms from around the world into buttery, artfully crafted croissants.
Following the success of La Haute Croissanterie in January 2024, which reimagined croissants through the lens of haute couture and local flavours, the Blossoms collection is a sensory journey through culture, artistry, and floral finesse. This year, the croissant becomes a canvas for edible bouquets—each one highlighting the native flower of a Sofitel destination.
Among the collection’s standouts is the Seoul Bom Blush, available exclusively at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences throughout May. Crafted by Pastry Chef Hyunho Lim, this croissant captures the essence of South Korea’s cherry blossoms with a cherry blossom whipped ganache and vibrant raspberry gel, encased in delicate layers sculpted to resemble flower petals. Guests can savour this floral creation at the hotel’s Jardin d’Hiver, with the first 30 guests on May 1 receiving it complimentary.
Other signature croissants in the collection include:
These croissants will be available at participating Sofitel properties for four months, with flavours varying by location.
This global floral tribute is part of Sofitel’s broader mission to intertwine French culinary artistry with local identity. In Asia, the La Haute Croissanterie concept continues to flourish with croissants tailored to regional flavours—think teh tarik-infused pastries in Singapore, squid ink and sea salt creations in Krabi, pandan-laced delights in Bangkok, Vietnamese coffee croissants in Saigon, and amok-inspired aromas in Phnom Penh.
