Garmin Singapore has unveiled the Varia Vue, the brand’s first-ever cycling headlight with a built-in 4K front-facing camera, combining visibility and safety in one sleek device. Tailored for road cyclists, this innovative accessory records your ride, lights your path with up to 600 lumens, and automatically saves video in case of an incident—offering peace of mind with every pedal.
Equipped with Electronic Image Stabilization, Varia Vue captures crisp, steady footage in 4K resolution. If an incident is detected, the device automatically stores video footage from before, during, and after the event. Cyclists can sync their rides to Garmin Vault via Wi-Fi for secure cloud storage (subscription required), or review and edit clips directly through the Varia app.
Pair it with the Varia RCT715 radar taillight camera (sold separately) to document the journey from both front and rear angles.
Designed to adapt, the Varia Vue features five lighting modes—including a 600-lumen high beam—that adjust based on the rider’s speed and environment when connected to a compatible Garmin Edge cycling computer. A clever cutoff beam limits glare for oncoming traffic, enhancing nighttime visibility without compromising road safety.
The Garmin Varia Vue will be available starting 28 April 2025, retailing at SGD 799. Purchase it at Garmin Brand Stores, Lazada, Shopee, the Garmin Online Store, Takashimaya, and selected authorized retailers.
