At its first-ever GrabX product showcase, Grab introduced a fresh suite of innovations designed to meet your evolving lifestyle—whether you’re juggling family responsibilities, flying solo, or exploring the world. Titled “For Every You,” the new lineup reflects Grab’s commitment to making everyday life simpler, safer, and more connected for users across Southeast Asia.

Personalised Solutions for Every Side of You
Grab’s latest product rollout taps into the diverse roles users play throughout the day. Powered by AI and Grab’s vast ecosystem, the new features were built with a deeper understanding of real-life needs and habits—from mealtime logistics to safer teen mobility.
Key launches include:
- Grab for Family | Teens and enhanced large order delivery for the Family ‘You’
- GrabFood for One and Shared Saver for the Solo ‘You’
- Advance Booking (Airport Pickup), Dine Out Discovery (powered by GrabMaps), and Grab Travel Pass for the Explorer ‘You’
Peace of Mind for Families
The spotlight feature, Grab for Family | Teens, gives teens aged 13 to 17 the freedom to move independently—while parents stay in control. Linked to a parent’s Grab for Family account, the teen version includes multiple safety enhancements:
- Top-rated driver-partners with proven track records
- Ride PIN verification to ensure the teen gets in the right vehicle
- Always-on AudioProtect (soon GenAI-enhanced) to detect and alert for unsafe situations in real time
- Trip monitoring, flagging route deviations or unusual stops
The new teen experience begins rolling out in select markets this May.
Smarter, Seamless Group Orders
Gathering for celebrations like Ramadan, Lunar New Year, or Christmas? Grab has your big food orders covered. With AI-powered backend upgrades, the system now detects large or bulky orders using a tailored Large Language Model (LLM) that evaluates item weights and sizes across 175 million food variations.
Here’s how it works:
- If an order is too large for a single rider, Grab assigns a 4-wheeler.
- If no 4-wheeler is available, it splits the order and dispatches two delivery partners in sync to ensure everything arrives together.
Already live across Southeast Asia, this system is continuously learning and improving—so you can focus on the festivities, not the logistics.
Be the First to Try What’s Next
Grab also introduced the Early Access Programme (EAP), inviting curious users and early adopters to test new features before anyone else. In exchange, users provide valuable feedback to help shape future releases. Think of it as an insider pass to what’s next on Grab—sign-ups are now open.
For the Solo ‘You’: Affordable Feasts and Shared Orders
Whether you’re pulling an all-nighter, working late, or simply enjoying some me-time, solo dining shouldn’t mean limited options or high delivery fees. That’s where GrabFood for One comes in.
Now live in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, this feature offers affordable, no-minimum-spend meals with a fixed, low delivery fee. Partnering with local merchants, Grab curates a diverse menu of solo-friendly meals and a lightning-fast checkout experience—so you can satisfy your cravings without stretching your wallet.
Also launching is Shared Saver, a smart way to order small items like bubble tea or snacks without paying full delivery fees. Using AI, Grab detects when nearby users are placing orders from the same merchant and invites you to join a live order—no coordination needed. You’ll see a countdown timer and your delivery savings before you check out. You can even initiate your own group order and let nearby diners piggyback on your delivery.
Shared Saver launches in Singapore this April, with pilot programs expanding to other cities by June.
For the Explorer ‘You’: Travel Smarter, Dine Better
Whether you’re flying across the region or exploring your local food scene, Grab’s new tools are here to guide you every step of the way.
Advance Booking (Airport Pickup) offers a stress-free arrival experience by letting you pre-book a ride that syncs with your flight in real-time. The system dynamically adjusts driver timing based on your actual arrival, so you’ll be met on time, every time. It’s now available at major airports including Bali, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, and Seletar (Singapore), with more coming soon.
Dine Out Discovery, powered by GrabMaps, takes food discovery to a new level. Search by cuisine, ratings, walkable distance, or dietary needs—and get access to restaurant menus, deals, photos, reviews, and even table reservations in select markets. Perfect for foodies chasing the next big bite in Singapore, Bangkok, or beyond, this feature rolls out across all markets by May, with reservations launching first in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand.
Finally, the new Grab Travel Pass helps you navigate Southeast Asia with ease. Purchase it in-app before your trip and get access to discounted rides, food delivery, and dining deals across borders—making travel simpler and more affordable.
