Samsung Electronics Singapore has officially launched the 2025 edition of the Short & Sharp Film Festival, its highly anticipated mobile short film competition. Designed to inspire the next wave of storytellers, this festival invites participants to showcase their creativity through impactful short films, all captured on mobile devices.
This year, Samsung is teaming up with Mediacorp to provide contestants with exclusive insights from industry veterans and trailblazers. Participants will learn how to elevate their storytelling and filmmaking skills while competing for over SGD 7,000 in prizes. All you need is a 60-second short film inspired by this year’s theme: “Supercharging My Now: Finding the Extraordinary in Everyday Singaporean Life.”
