NBA Teams Up with Sport Singapore & STB for Multiyear Basketball Festival

In a groundbreaking multiyear collaboration, the National Basketball Association (NBA), Sport Singapore (SportSG), and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) are bringing a series of NBA events to the city-state, starting this June with an immersive basketball and entertainment festival.

Headlining the festival is the NBA Rising Stars Invitational, the league’s first-ever regional high-school tournament, featuring top boys’ and girls’ teams from 10 Asia-Pacific countries. Taking place at the Kallang Alive Precinct from June 25-29, this five-day competition will begin with round-robin play before moving into high-stakes knockout rounds, culminating in the semi-finals and championship games.

Beyond the court, the festival promises an electrifying experience for fans of all ages, featuring NBA and WNBA players, meet-and-greet sessions, interactive clinics, open courts, and exclusive photo ops with NBA memorabilia—including The Larry O’Brien Trophy. Attendees can also look forward to community initiatives and cultural exchange programs designed to grow the sport across the region.

The tournament’s standout players will gain opportunities to attend elite NBA development camps, further strengthening the league’s footprint in Asia. Singapore, as the host country, will be represented by two teams in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.

NBA Hall of Famer and two-time champion Chris Bosh joined executives from NBA Asia, SportSG, and STB to announce the partnership in Singapore. This initiative builds on the NBA’s growing presence in the region, following the 2022 launch of its Singapore office.

More details—including ticketing, marketing partners, and special guests—will be announced soon. Stay updated and follow the NBA Rising Stars Invitational on Instagram for the latest updates.
