When I first learned about Amazon’s eero mesh wifi systems launching in Singapore, I was unsure what to expect. I have had more than my fair share of wifi problems such as dead zones in certain rooms, painfully slow downloads, and unstable connections during important video calls.
It is particularly bad in my master bedroom, to the point that I have to resort to using my mobile data to go online. This has been a perennial pain point for me and my family.
I had tried other routers, extenders, and everything in between, but nothing fully solved the problem. A call to my WiFi service provider was unhelpful as well. Thus when I installed the eero Pro 6E, I was cautiously optimistic, but went ahead anyway.
Setting up the eero Pro 6E was a breeze, thanks to the eero app.
It walked me through every step, from connecting it to a modem to detecting the devices.
The real test was in the bedroom, which had always been a black hole for WiFi. No matter what I tried in the past, the signal just would not reach.
This time? Problem solved.
It worked perfectly.
No more weak signal icons, no more buffering. My son noticed it immediately. His PlayStation 5 in the bedroom used to take over a day to download a 1GB game update. Now? It was done in minutes.
If you are wondering, the Pro 6E is not even their top-tier product. That title belongs to the eero Max 7, which was also launched in Singapore. Here is a quick rundown of both devices:

What really impressed me are the extras that make living with eero even easier. Here are a few that stand out:
For Singapore users, you can buy the eero Pro 6E and eero Max 7 on platforms like Amazon.sg, eerostore.sg, Shopee, and Lazada. The prices are pretty competitive:
eero Pro 6E starts at $359.99 for a single unit. A two-pack is $649, and a three-pack is $799.99.
eero Max 7 is priced at $799.99 for a single, $1,499 for a two-pack, and $2,049 for a three-pack.
If you prefer getting it through your internet provider, some local ISPs like MyRepublic, Simba, and ViewQuest also offer these systems.

I’ve been dealing with WiFi dead zones for ages, especially in my bedroom, so I can totally relate! It’s so frustrating when you can’t even use your own internet properly. I love how easy the setup sounds with the eero Pro 6E, and it’s amazing that it solved your issues so quickly. The fact that your son can download a 1GB update in minutes now is such a game changer! Definitely considering getting one myself. Thanks for sharing your experience — sounds like a solid investment!
