The Singapore Tennis Open (STO) 2025, a highly anticipated Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) 250 tournament, returns to deliver an action-packed week of world-class tennis at the Kallang Tennis Hub (KTH). From January 25 to February 2, fans can look forward to thrilling matches, interactive activities, and inspiring moments that celebrate the love of the sport.
The excitement kicks off with free entry to the qualifying rounds on January 25 and 26, where prominent players like Zhu Lin (China) and Alexandra Eala (Philippines) will battle for a spot in the main draw. Both are making their return to Singapore after participating in earlier WTA Rising Stars and Future Stars events.
From January 27 to February 2, the main draw will feature tennis stars such as Anna Kalinskaya, Emma Raducanu, and Elise Mertens competing for the prestigious title.
Running alongside the STO, the inaugural Singapore Tennis Invitational Cup (STIC) will showcase regional talent from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia. Over four days, 32 national players will compete in Ladies’ Singles and Doubles, Men’s Singles and Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. With free access to the STIC at the KTH outdoor courts, this is your chance to rally behind the region’s best.
The STO 2025 Fan Village at KTH Event Plaza is a hub of tennis-themed activities for all ages. Meet WTA stars and STO Community Ambassadors Tamarine Tanasugarn (Thailand) and Yayuk Basuki (Indonesia), who will share their inspiring journeys as trailblazers in Southeast Asian tennis. Fans can also test their skills in fun challenges, measure their reflexes, or try a free Cardio Tennis fitness class at the outdoor courts.
The Singapore Tennis Association and ActiveSG Tennis Academy will host youth tennis clinics, providing budding players with tips and techniques from professional coaches and STO Community Ambassadors. Meanwhile, young players can participate in the STO Red Ball Event Tournament 2025, a fun, competitive experience designed to build their confidence on the court.
More than 600 students will embark on guided tours of the KTH, gaining insights into venue logistics, event operations, and sports management. These exclusive tours also include stops at the Singapore Sports Museum and WTA Finals commemorative art sculpture, ending with a seat to watch live action on the court.
