This Chinese New Year, YouTrip, Singapore’s favorite multi-currency digital wallet, is slithering into the festive season with a thrilling twist to its popular e-angbao digital hunt. Get ready for YouTrip’s Zodiac Match, where users can take part in an exciting hunt for the elusive Golden Snake match and stand a chance to win S$8,888.
From 27 January, YouTrip users can join the fun by sending e-angbaos via the YouTrip Send function. Both the sender and the recipient will receive a unique zodiac sign, each offering a chance to win great prizes. To enter the contest, simply share your zodiac match on Instagram and tag @YouTripSG for a shot at winning.
This year’s e-angbao hunt adds more excitement to a growing trend. Since launching its annual digital angbao initiative, YouTrip has seen an impressive 10x growth in the number of e-angbaos sent. Last year, users sent an average of seven e-angbaos each, with the largest angbao reaching a generous S$1,000. The top currencies used for these transfers were SGD, JPY, and GBP.
As e-angbaos become an increasingly popular way to celebrate, YouTrip continues to make it easier and more engaging than ever to blend tradition with digital convenience. With its interactive elements, YouTrip hopes to bring families and friends closer together during the festive season.
The Zodiac Match campaign runs throughout the 15 days of Chinese New Year, and the grand prize winner will be announced on 19 February 2025 via YouTrip’s social media channels. All prizes will be credited to winners’ YouTrip wallets by 12 March 2025.
Start sending those e-angbaos, share your zodiacs, and slither your way into the chance to win big this Chinese New Year.
