Tsuburaya Productions has launched Guardians of the Earth, the first booster pack for the Ultraman Card Game, just in time for the holiday season.
Following the success of its Starter Deck debut, this new expansion introduces 140 cards, including ultra-rare and visually captivating parallel editions, making it an ideal gift for Ultraman fans and card collectors alike.
The Guardians of the Earth booster pack is released simultaneously across 23 countries and regions, including Singapore, and is available in four languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Each booster pack retails for S$5.50 and is designed to enhance gameplay while celebrating the iconic Ultraman universe.
Expanded Ultraman Universe
Featuring 110 new cards and 30 parallel cards, the booster pack introduces a diverse range of collectible characters, scene cards, and strategies inspired by the Heisei Era, New Generation Series, and the latest Ultraman Arc. The set includes rarities from Common (C) to Triple-Rare (RRR), allowing fans to explore new gameplay strategies and relive iconic moments from the Ultraman series.
Visually Stunning Parallel Cards
Special SP parallel cards boast enhanced designs with vibrant, holographic finishes and textured backgrounds. Featuring legendary Ultraman characters like Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Mebius, Ultraman Decker, Ultraman Blazar, and Ultraman Arc, these cards also include gold-embossed Hero Signs, adding prestige to any collection.
Scene Cards
Highlighting pivotal moments from the Ultraman universe, scene cards such as Legend of the Stone recreate memorable episodes, enhancing the storytelling aspect of gameplay.
Tsuburaya Productions has also announced exciting additions for 2025. The second booster pack, Vortex of Crimson and Azure, will debut alongside Extra Deck 01: Ultraman Rising in January. Inspired by the Netflix film Ultraman Rising, this pre-constructed deck offers a 50-card set and playmat, introducing new fans to cinematic battles with beloved characters like Ultraman (Ken Sato) and Emi, the baby kaiju.
To further enhance the UCG experience, two companion apps are now available:
Ultraman Digital Collection: Integrates physical and digital card collections, offering fans a seamless way to manage and trade cards.
ULTRA LEAGUE: Designed for competitive players, the app supports tournaments, event registration, match tracking, and deck management.
With a simultaneous release across 23 countries, Guardians of the Earth seeks to deliver a unified experience for fans worldwide. Combining strategy, collectability, and stunning artwork from renowned artists Hiroshi Maruyama and Masayuki Goto, the Ultraman Card Game continues to bridge generations of fans, delivering thrilling gameplay rooted in Ultraman’s rich legacy.
