Kinetic Garden: A Spectacular Lunar New Year Light-Up

From 20 January to 2 February 2025, Orchard Road comes alive with the Kinetic Garden, an outdoor art installation inspired by the Year of the Snake limited-edition release by Shanghai-based artist Shuting Qi.

Created in collaboration with local artist Pei Li of PeiPer Studio, this garden-themed display features life-sized floral sculptures symbolizing resilience, renewal, and prosperity:

  • Plum Blossoms: A nod to spring’s arrival and good fortune.
  • Cymbidium Orchids: A symbol of refinement and beauty.
  • Peonies: Representing tradition, modernity, and abundance.

Set under elegant yellow-gold arches, visitors can stroll through a path illuminated by motion sensors, with red lights and vibrant floral displays creating a magical atmosphere. At precisely 8:18 PM daily, the installation dazzles in a full light-up, offering a breathtaking spectacle.

Perfect for festive photos, the Kinetic Garden also features Hennessy bottle displays, cementing the brand as a Lunar New Year staple for gifting and celebration.
