Ed Sheeran Announces 2025 Mathematics Tour, Including a Historic First in Bhutan

Global music sensation Ed Sheeran is set to make history in 2025 with the next chapter of his record-breaking Mathematics Tour. This monumental run will include his first-ever performance in Bhutan, alongside stops in India and the Middle East, with shows spanning January to May 2025.

The tour kicks off on January 24, 2025, at the iconic Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan. This marks the country’s first major international concert, brought to life by Gelephu Mindfulness City and AEG Presents in collaboration with One Fiinix Live. Tickets for the Bhutan show will go on sale Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 12 noon BTT.

A Milestone for Bhutan

Sheeran’s performance in Thimphu is set against the backdrop of Bhutan’s ambitious Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) project. Guided by His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck’s vision, GMC is being developed as a Special Administrative Region that blends material progress with spiritual well-being. Strategically located on a crucial South-Southeast Asia land bridge, the city aims to lead in sustainability, powered entirely by renewable energy, and support a population of 1 million.

What Fans Can Expect

Ed Sheeran will bring his signature stripped-back setup to the stage—just him, his guitar, and Loopstation. Fans can anticipate a powerful setlist packed with chart-topping hits from his illustrious decade-long career.

With nearly 200 million records sold worldwide and 12 tracks in Spotify’s Billions Club, Sheeran’s accomplishments continue to redefine global music. His timeless anthem “The A Team” recently surpassed 1 billion streams, adding to his monumental legacy.
