The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (Visit Maldives) has launched an exciting new campaign, “The World’s Biggest Giveaway,” offering 52 free holidays – one for each week of 2025! Announced at the World Travel Mart in London on November 5, this year-long campaign aims to bring the beauty of the Maldives to travelers around the globe with a chance to win a free holiday each week through Visit Maldives’ social media platforms.
Each month, four lucky winners will be selected through social media contests to receive an unforgettable Maldives experience. From pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters to luxurious getaways and vibrant local culture, each giveaway will spotlight a unique theme, showcasing everything from romantic retreats to family adventures, luxury escapes, diving experiences, and more.
The campaign’s goal is to build global awareness of the Maldives as a premier travel destination and to share insights into the diverse experiences the islands offer. By inviting participants worldwide to join the excitement, Visit Maldives hopes to inspire more travelers to explore the stunning natural beauty and cultural richness of the Maldives year-round.
Beyond social media, Visit Maldives commits to promoting the Maldives on a global stage, participating in trade fairs, hosting webinars, and organizing roadshows. With a focus on sustainability, the 2025 marketing calendar also highlights emerging travel segments such as film tourism and wellness tourism, positioning the Maldives as a destination for all.
