For 30 years, Ana dedicated herself to supporting her family in the Philippines, working as a domestic helper in Singapore and sending home nearly every dollar she earned. At 55, she now faces her own crisis, in urgent need of help from the community she has served for decades.
On October 21, Ana was rushed to NUH Hospital after suffering a severe stroke due to two brain aneurysms. She has since undergone multiple surgeries and is currently in the High Dependency Unit, requiring additional life-saving procedures and an extended hospital stay. Her family and friends are seeking to raise $70,000 to cover her medical costs and ensure her safe return home to the Philippines, where she can be with her loved ones.
These funds will help cover immediate and anticipated medical expenses. In the event of a fortunate recovery, any remaining donations will go to a stroke rehabilitation center or relevant charity in Ana’s hometown, Iloilo City, as a tribute to her lifelong generosity.
Ana’s kindness has touched many lives, and now she needs support during this difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference. For those unable to give financially, sharing Ana’s story is also deeply appreciated.
All funds are managed by Give.Asia and will go directly to the hospital, helping Ana get the care she urgently needs.
