Leading global sports brand, LI-NING, is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia with the launch of two new stores in Singapore this October 2024.

The stores, located at Bugis+ and Plaza Singapura, offer a wide range of multi-sport products, designed to inspire a healthy lifestyle and provide consumers with a high-quality retail experience.

Founded in 1990 by Olympic Gold Medalist and gymnast Li Ning, the brand has grown into a global leader in sports apparel and footwear.

“The opening of the two direct-to-consumer stores in Singapore symbolizes the brand’s exploration of the Southeast Asia market and marks an important milestone,” shared Zeng Jing (Aska), Head of LI-NING’s International Division.

LI-NING focuses on five core sports categories: basketball, running, lifestyle, training, and badminton.

After listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the brand expanded internationally and partnered with the NBA in 2005. LI-NING also established the LI-NING Sports Science and Research Center to drive innovation in professional sports products.

The brand’s investment of over CNY3 billion (S$0.56 billion) in research and development over the past decade has yearned results in technology like the “Li-Ning 䨻 (BOOM)” shock absorption system, and the “Li-Ning 弜 (JIANG)” structural energy storage technology.

Way of Wade & Fei Dian Series

LI-NING’s basketball collaboration with NBA star Dwyane Wade has brought the exclusive Way of Wade series to a global audience. The latest edition, WOW 11, featuring Carbon Core Drive System technology was launched in Singapore on 18 October 2024 at Plaza Singapura.

For runners, LI-NING features their Fei Dian family of professional running shoes. The Fei Dian 4 Challenger, featuring cutting-edge structural technology, are available for trial at the new stores.
