Explore the World with This New “AI Trip Planner” as Your Travel Companion

Booking.com has officially launched its AI Trip Planner (Beta) in Singapore, marking the first release of this innovative tool in Southeast Asia. Following successful rollouts in Australia, New Zealand, the US, and the UK, Singaporean travelers can now experience a more intuitive and personalized approach to planning their next getaway.

Singaporeans Ready for AI-Enhanced Travel

According to a recent study by Booking.com, over 55% of Singaporean travelers are eager to use AI tools for their travel planning. From creating itineraries (57%) to discovering activities (51%) and restaurant recommendations (40%), Singaporeans are embracing technology to simplify their travel experience. Nearly half (48%) are also on the lookout for AI-powered amenities in their accommodations.

A Smarter Way to Search and Plan

The AI Trip Planner offers a conversational interface that helps travelers at any stage of their journey. Whether they’re exploring destinations, finding accommodations, or seeking inspiration for a romantic Bali retreat or a family vacation in Sentosa, the tool provides instant, tailored recommendations based on individual needs. The AI Trip Planner combines Booking.com’s advanced machine learning models and OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology to create a seamless and personalized travel planning experience.

Effortless Travel Suggestions in Real-Time

With just a chat, travelers can refine their searches and receive suggestions in seconds. From winter holidays in Hokkaido to discovering hidden gems in cities around the world, the AI Trip Planner simplifies decision-making by providing curated options, making it easier for users to find the perfect destination, accommodation, or attraction.

Integrated Booking Experience

The AI Trip Planner goes beyond suggestions, offering a visual list of destinations, properties, and prices directly from Booking.com. Users can switch between their chat and the Booking.com app, finalizing bookings for accommodations or attractions with just a tap.

Since its beta launch in June 2023, the AI Trip Planner has attracted over 3.7 million visitors, facilitated 700,000 dialogues, and generated 1.2 million recommendations globally. Starting today, travelers in Singapore can access this tool by logging into their Booking.com account and setting their language to English with Singapore as their country.
