Accor strengthens its presence in Singapore, signing a landmark deal for three new hotels slated to open by 2027. Partnering with Fragrance Group Limited and Global Premium Hotels Limited, both owned by Koh Wee Meng, this agreement will introduce over 1,300 keys under three distinct brands, marking a significant milestone for Accor in Asia Pacific.
The expansion will see the debut of Mövenpick Singapore, which will become the largest Mövenpick hotel in the region with 808 rooms. Located on Hoe Chiang Road, near Singapore’s central business district, Mövenpick Singapore will offer a premium experience, combining world-class hospitality with culinary excellence. Additionally, Mövenpick Living Singapore, featuring 37 keys, will cater to extended-stay guests, making it a prime choice for both business and leisure travelers.
In late 2025, Waterloo Street, known for its vibrant arts and cultural scene, will welcome a new property under Accor’s Handwritten Collection. This 502-room boutique hotel will bring stylish, character-rich accommodations to the heart of Singapore’s civic center, further solidifying the brand’s growing presence in the region. The opening follows the successful launch of Hotel Faber Park – Handwritten Collection in late 2023.
With this development, Accor reaffirms its position as a leading hotel operator in Asia’s premium, midscale, and economy segments, adding to its existing portfolio of 35 hotels in Singapore, which includes renowned brands such as Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Novotel, and ibis.
