Singapore’s Bayfront Event Space has become the glowing center of the world’s largest light, sound, and multimedia experience with the grand opening of ILLUMI. Unveiled on 13 September 2024, this dazzling event—created by Cavalia and presented by Base Entertainment Asia—will continue until 2 February 2025, bringing a series of exciting festive activities along the way.
The opening ceremony, hosted by Singapore media personality Yasminne Cheng, saw Base Entertainment Asia CEO Chantal Prudhomme and ILLUMI creator Normand Latourelle switch on an awe-inspiring 20 million LED lights, illuminating the skyline with larger-than-life light installations. The event also introduced ILU, a playful otter mascot representing Water, Earth, Metal, and Thunder, promoting unity, curiosity, and environmental sustainability.
Committed to eco-consciousness, ILLUMI uses energy-efficient LED lighting and recycled materials, enhancing sustainability while engaging local vendors and talent. Visitors can explore nine captivating themed worlds, from glowing maple forests to the prehistoric Jurassic Kingdom, each designed to spark wonder and imagination.
Running nightly, with ticket prices starting from S$25, ILLUMI promises a magical holiday experience for visitors of all ages.
Event runs from 13 September 2024 to 2 February 2025 at the Bayfront Event Ground.
