Global apparel brand UNIQLO has partnered with the world-renowned Magnum Photos for a groundbreaking photography exhibition, PEACE FOR ALL, making its next stop in Singapore. Running from Friday, 20 September to Friday, 4 October at VivoCity, this exhibition is co-presented by Mapletree Investments and will be open to the public free of charge. Celebrating the International Day of Peace, visitors are invited to contribute to a symbolic Wishing Tree by writing messages of hope, promoting unity and resilience.
Following its debut in London, the PEACE FOR ALL exhibition will travel to over 10 major cities, including New York, Tokyo, Paris, and Shanghai. The exhibition showcases powerful, moving images from Magnum photographers Cristina de Middel, Lindokuhle Sobekwa, and Olivia Arthur, who have captured the daily lives of communities in Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Romania that have benefitted from the PEACE FOR ALL initiative.
The event highlights UNIQLO’s commitment to making a positive global impact through both photography and fashion, and gives visitors a chance to witness the tangible effects of the brand’s charitable work.
In celebration of this project, UNIQLO will release three new PEACE FOR ALL T-shirt designs on 20 September, available both in stores and online. These limited-edition tees feature photographs from the exhibition and showcase humanitarian efforts in Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Romania.
