OPPO has announced the renewal of its partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for the next three seasons, continuing its role as the Official Smartphone Product Partner. This extended collaboration covers major UEFA competitions, including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Futsal Champions League finals, and UEFA Youth League finals. Building on the success of the past two seasons, OPPO aims to elevate the fan experience using its advanced technology in smartphones, headphones, and smartwatches.
The partnership renewal was celebrated at a special event, attended by OPPO’s President of Overseas Marketing, Billy Zhang, and UEFA’s Marketing Director, Guy-Laurent Epstein. Football legend Iker Casillas Fernández made a surprise appearance, delighting fans with a demonstration of OPPO’s latest products and AI technology.
Leveraging over a decade of mobile imaging expertise, OPPO has developed the Matchday Phone, designed to help fans capture the most exciting moments during football matches. With telephoto and nighttime photography features, OPPO smartphones allow fans to take clear, vibrant shots, even from high up in the stands or during evening games.
During the event, Casillas showcased OPPO’s AI Studio, a cutting-edge feature that will enhance fan engagement over the next three seasons. OPPO’s innovation, including generative AI features like AI Studio and AI Eraser, will continue to bring fans closer to the action on and off the pitch.
OPPO is also expanding its commitment to football by launching youth development programs in Spain, Mexico, Egypt, and China. In collaboration with UEFA, these initiatives aim to support young footballers and local clubs, inspiring the next generation to pursue their dreams on the field.
