Dusit Thani Bangkok Set to Reopen with a Stunning New Look on 27 September 2024

Dusit International has announced the highly anticipated reopening of its flagship Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel on 27 September 2024. Completely rebuilt as part of the Dusit Central Park development, this reimagined property pays tribute to its 50-year legacy while setting a new standard for luxury hospitality in Thailand and beyond.

Occupying the same prestigious location, the new Dusit Thani Bangkok offers 257 luxurious guest rooms, each featuring uninterrupted views of Lumpini Park. Envisioned by Dragon Company Limited, a Thailand-based firm founded by Architects 49 International Limited and OMA Asia (Hong Kong) Limited, the new hotel’s architecture honors the distinctive style of its predecessor. The interiors, masterfully designed by the renowned André Fu Studio, elegantly merge the hotel’s rich heritage with modern Thai aesthetics. Warm color tones and subtle traditional motifs create a contemporary take on classic Thai artistry and craftsmanship, offering a seamless blend of old-world charm and modern luxury.

The hotel’s Heritage Floor, designed by Thai firm P49 Deesign & Associates, captures the spirit of the original property with exclusive artworks celebrating its legacy. The return of the iconic golden spire, now three times larger, and the meticulous reinstallation of original artworks and features from the historic Benjarong Thai Restaurant add to the hotel’s timeless appeal.

With a focus on spaciousness and well-being, the new Dusit Thani Bangkok promises an elevated guest experience. The rooms, starting at 50 square meters, blend luxury with comfort, while the hotel introduces an urban wellness concept, 10 curated restaurants and bars, and over 5,000 square meters of meeting space, including one of Bangkok’s largest grand ballrooms overlooking Lumpini Park.

Bookings for this iconic luxury sanctuary are now open.
