Singapore is set to become a global esports hotspot as BLAST, a leading esports entertainment company, brings two top-tier events to the city in 2024 and 2025. Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), these events will spotlight the world’s best Counter-Strike and Dota 2 teams, further cementing Singapore’s status as a premier gaming destination.
The partnership with AEG Presents Asia, a major live entertainment entity, underscores BLAST’s commitment to delivering world-class esports experiences. With the Asia Pacific region accounting for 57% of global esports viewership, this move is expected to draw significant international attention.
The first event, the BLAST World Final 2024, will run from October 30 to November 3, featuring eight elite Counter-Strike teams competing for a US$1 million prize pool. Following this, the BLAST Dota Slam will take place in 2025.
