Jetstar Asia has announced a new direct flight route from Singapore to Colombo, Sri Lanka, marking it as the only low-cost carrier to offer this service. Starting on November 21, 2024, the airline will operate five weekly return flights using Airbus A320 aircraft, making over 90,000 budget-friendly seats available annually between the two cities.
The new service features a split schedule with both morning and evening departures from Singapore’s Changi Airport. This flexibility benefits travelers originating in Singapore and those connecting from Jetstar Airways’ daily service from Melbourne or up to six weekly flights from Perth.
To celebrate the launch, Jetstar Asia is offering special one-way fares from Singapore to Colombo starting at just SG$149. Club Jetstar members can enjoy even lower fares, beginning at SG$139. These promotional fares are available on the airline’s official website from 12:00 PM (SGT) on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, until 11:59 PM (SGT) on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, or until they sell out. Terms and conditions apply, and the service is subject to government and regulatory approval.
