ViewQwest, the award-winning Telecommunications and Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), has unveiled its latest offering: the 10-Gigabit Symmetric Passive Optical Network (XGS PON), designed for tech-savvy customers who seek the flexibility to customize their high-performance internet setups.
The new service, ViewQwest X, features plans at 3Gbps, 5Gbps, and 10Gbps, allowing advanced users to integrate their preferred network devices for optimal performance tailored to their unique needs. This launch aligns with Singapore’s ongoing efforts to upgrade household internet capabilities to support the rise of content streaming and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR).
The shift to XGS PON is akin to expanding a two-way street into a 10-lane highway, significantly reducing data congestion during peak periods and providing higher speeds. ViewQwest’s high download and upload speeds are designed to meet the demands of real-time interactive AR/VR experiences, large file sharing for AI projects, and rapid cloud backup synchronization. These improvements will help maintain Singapore’s position as the fastest fixed-network nation globally.
ViewQwest’s entry-level 3Gbps service starts at just $34.98 per month on a two-year contract, setting a new benchmark for price-performance in broadband plans, with upload speeds surpassing current 2.5Gbps offerings. The available plans include:
For the first time in Singapore, ViewQwest is offering the eero Max 7 (Wi-Fi 7) and eero Pro 6E (Wi-Fi 6E) from Amazon as bundled plans. These devices provide fast, reliable, and secure Wi-Fi throughout homes or small businesses, managed via the eero app. Wi-Fi 7 unlocks 320MHz channels, enabling households to fully leverage increased broadband speeds with capable networking devices.
ViewQwest also offers the high-performance Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE, providing tech enthusiasts with granular network control and the fastest end-to-end speeds. Additionally, a 10Gbps capable SFP+ module is available, replacing the traditional ONU and allowing power users the freedom to design their home network.
ViewQwest maintains its longstanding network principles, ensuring customers enjoy latency-based routing for fast response times and maximum available bandwidth without international bandwidth caps, traffic shaping, or speed throttling, even with P2P file sharing. Subscribers also benefit from SecureNet Home, which offers built-in network security powered by AI and machine learning.
Existing customers with three months or less remaining on their contract can renew for another 24 months to enjoy the new ViewQwest X services. Those not eligible for re-contract can take advantage of the Speed Upgrade promo, with options to boost speeds to 3Gbps (+$3.27/month), 5Gbps (+$6.54/month), or 10Gbps (+$13.08/month), with a minimum commitment period of 12 months.
