[Review] Logitech Keys-To-Go 2: A Sleek, Versatile Travel Keyboard, Ideal for Tablet and Mobile Pairing

The Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 is a remarkably slim and portable keyboard, designed to be an ideal travel companion for tablets, mobile devices and laptops. At less than 1cm thick and weighing 222g, it is perfect for those who need a lightweight and compact typing solution on-the-go, particularly for tablets and mobile phones that are not as user-friendly for composing lengthy work emails.

With its compact frame, it can easily fit into any bag without adding noticeable bulk.

It also features a full row of productivity shortcuts, including volume, brightness, play/pause controls, and Logitech’s signature emoji key.

Additionally, it has three Easy-Switch keys for quick Bluetooth connectivity between up to three devices, enhancing its versatility. You can connect three devices simultaneously via Bluetooth, toggling between them quickly by pressing the Easy-Switch keys to go from your table to mobile phone to laptop quickly.

In terms of typing experience, the keyboard comes with scissor-switch keys offering a stable, satisfying touch with a low profile. It does not have that ‘spongy’ feel of most compact, travel or tablet keyboards and gives an experience closer to a regular keyboard.

The built-in cover is another practical feature, flipping around to provide a slight ergonomic angle for better typing comfort. Available in three colors—Lilac, Pale Gray, and Graphite—the Keys-To-Go 2 is designed to match various personal styles. Go for the Lilac version for something eye-catchy.

The Keys-To-Go 2 supports multiple operating systems including Windows, Android, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and ChromeOS. There are two layout options: a universal layout for all OSes and one specifically tailored for Apple devices. This makes it a great choice for anyone looking for a keyboard that can switch seamlessly between different devices.

For battery life, Logitech claims that the Keys-To-Go 2 can last up to 36 months on two non-rechargeable coin cell batteries, based on an average use of two hours daily.

The Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 is an excellent choice for those seeking a portable, versatile keyboard for travel. It offers a sleek design, long battery life, and compatibility with a wide range of devices. While it may not replace your primary keyboard, it excels as a lightweight and functional accessory for typing on the go.

I find it especially useful for travel. Due to the nature of my work, I would still need to check and reply to lengthy emails daily, even when I am traveling. With the Keys-To-Go 2, I can pair it simultaneously with the two mobile phones (an iPhone and an Android device) I always carry around, while ditching my laptop at home.

The Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 is available at S$139 from its official Lazada and Shopee storefronts, a very reasonable price for a quality, compact keyboard. More details are available on the official website.
