Surrey Hills Holdings Unveils Three New F&B Concepts at Raffles City

Surrey Hills Holdings, the local F&B and lifestyle group behind the well-loved Surrey Hills Grocer, is set to introduce three innovative culinary concepts at Raffles City. In a move that underscores its commitment to quality and innovation, the group has partnered with Bon Broth (Taiwan), Mensho Tokyo (Japan), and MoVida Original (Australia) to launch their first standalone restaurants in Singapore.

Bon Broth: A Culinary Innovation by Andre Chiang

Bon Broth, created by the internationally acclaimed Chef Andre Chiang, marks a new chapter in Singapore’s dining scene. Chef Chiang, renowned for his legendary establishments such as Restaurant ANDRE Singapore and RAW Taipei, brings his expertise to Bon Broth, which combines French bone broth with Chinese double-boiled soup. This unique concept, featuring fresh produce and simple cooking techniques, will debut globally in Singapore in Q4 2024. Chef Chiang’s new venture promises a variety of unique and flavorful broths, developed in his Taipei broth lab.

Mensho Tokyo: Award-Winning Ramen Arrives in Singapore

Founded in 2005 by ramen master Chef Tomoharu Shono, Mensho Tokyo has earned accolades such as Tokyo Ramen of the Year and Shinjuku Ramen Grand Prix. Known for its innovative ramen creations, Mensho Tokyo blends traditional ramen-making with complex flavor combinations. The Singapore outlet, opening on July 20, 2024, at Raffles City (#03-43), will be the 18th Mensho Tokyo worldwide. It will feature classic favorites and exclusive-to-Singapore dishes, along with desserts, a first for any Mensho Tokyo location.

MoVida Original: Melbourne’s Spanish Delight Comes to Singapore

MoVida Original, led by Chef Frank Camorra, is a celebrated restaurant recognized by Australia’s The Age Good Food Guide. Established in 2003 in Melbourne’s Hosier Lane, MoVida Original is famous for its tapas and sharing plates that deliver authentic Spanish flavors using Australian ingredients. The Singapore branch, opening on July 27, 2024, at Raffles City (#03-43), will be headed by Chef Adrian Clemmens, a former head chef and founding team member of MoVida Original. The restaurant will offer highly acclaimed dishes and new, exclusive-to-Singapore creations, paired with award-winning wines.
