Celebrate racial and religious harmony at OCBC Square, Singapore Sports Hub, during Harmony Fest! 2024 on 6 and 7 July from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This year’s theme, “It Begins With #YOUnity,” encourages all Singaporeans to embrace core values that foster a harmonious and united society. Jointly organised by Kallang Alive Sport Management (KASM) and the Racial and Religious Harmony Circle (Harmony Circle), the event promises exciting games, cultural performances, and captivating exhibitions.
Kickstarting Racial and Religious Harmony Month
Harmony Fest! 2024 marks the beginning of Racial and Religious Harmony Month in July. This event commemorates the importance of harmony and celebrates Singapore’s diversity by bringing together people from various backgrounds and cultures. Aligned with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth’s SGinHarmony efforts, the festival aims to strengthen mutual understanding and respect for cultural diversity. Mr. Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth & Second Minister for Law, will be the Guest of Honour at the event’s opening on 6 July.
Interactive Zones and Installations
Harmony Fest! features four interactive zones and installations representing the core values of Harmony Circle: Trust, Respect, Cooperation, and Harmony. These values, instrumental in preserving Singapore’s harmony, are integrated into various activities designed to strengthen relationships and deepen cultural understanding.

A Journey of Kindness
Explore the Singapore Kindness Movement booths and Kindsville Adventure Trail, where children can enjoy activities like water sticker application, letter-writing to Singa, shrink art, and coloring. These activities highlight the importance of kindness and harmony. The Adventure Trail, starting from OCBC Square, celebrates Singapore’s multicultural heritage and includes a treasure hunt featuring the K-I-N-D-ness Cubbies, each providing clues and valuable cultural insights.
Innovative Paths to Racial and Religious Harmony
Engage with OTTODOT’s special racial harmony-themed interactive games, designed to educate youths on the values of Trust, Respect, Cooperation, and Harmony in a fun and interactive manner. Founded by two passionate individuals dedicated to nurturing a love for learning, OTTODOT offers a unique educational experience at the festival.
Captivating and Educational Exhibits
Discover a series of exhibits, including the Harmony Circle booth, School of Science and Technology’s project showcase, and an exhibition on diverse wedding customs from Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Eurasian traditions. The Total Defence Gallery also provides meaningful insights into Singapore’s community.
Celebrating Diversity and Inclusivity
Harmony Fest! 2024 highlights inclusivity and the contributions of persons with disabilities (PWD) through various activities and performances. PWD groups like Runninghour and the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) will set up booths to create awareness and engage participants. Try-outs for para-sports will also be available for all to participate in.
Showcasing Singapore’s Rich Cultural Heritage
Enjoy two days of performances that celebrate Singapore’s diverse cultural heritage, featuring talented students from Nanyang Girls High School, ITE College West, LASALLE College of the Arts, and University of the Arts Singapore, as well as performers from People’s Association Narpani Pearavai and traditional Malay band Nobat Kota Singa.
Highlights include a dynamic Chinese Drums ensemble, enchanting Indian folk art, and captivating Malay traditional dance and music. Nadi Singapura will also collaborate with Zhenghua Secondary School’s drum ensemble for an exciting performance.
