Originally launched in 1980, the KLIPPAN sofa became a household favorite, especially with its soft, puffy covers introduced in 1984. Now, this beloved classic returns with a playful twist. The new KLIPPAN cover for the 2-seat sofa is priced at $140 each and is available in bold hues of bright red, blue, and yellow. Each cover comes packaged in a matching textile bag, adding a touch of retro charm to modern homes.
A Retro Refresh to Unwind in Style
The POÄNG armchair, first introduced as POEM in 1977, has always been a perfect blend of form, function, quality, and affordability. Remarkably, today’s POÄNG costs even less than its original launch price. This versatile chair has evolved with variations for lounging, rocking, swirling, and even for kids. Redesigned by Noboru Nakamura, the new POÄNG armchair, priced at $159 each, features a sleek, low-back design available in various colors and combinations. The updated design is more compact and supports an active sitting position without a headrest, making it perfect for socializing and relaxing in style.
The fifth edition of the Nytillverkad collection is now available in IKEA stores and will be available online starting August 1, 2024.
