Citadelle Gin Brings Citadelle Rouge to Singapore: A Delightful Blend of Cranberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Blackcurrant, and Rhubarb

Citadelle Gin has unveiled its latest addition to Singapore’s gin scene: Citadelle Rouge. This new expression is a vibrant celebration of the French tradition of distilling seasonal fruits. Citadelle Rouge (41.7% ABV) is crafted from Citadelle Original Gin, infused with rhubarb, cranberry, blueberry, raspberry, and blackcurrant to deliver a delightful balance of sweet and tart flavors.

A Clear and Natural Delight

Despite its name, Citadelle Rouge (with ‘rouge’ translating to ‘red’ in English) remains crystal clear, without any added sugars. The natural fruit infusion and distillation process extract the vibrant aromas of the fruits, transforming them into a pure, transparent spirit that bursts with flavor. This fruit-forward gin maintains the dry profile of Citadelle Original Gin, enhanced by the luscious tartness of red berries and the tangy kick of rhubarb.

Elevate Your Drinking Experience

Gin enthusiasts can enjoy Citadelle Rouge with these easy-to-make cocktails:

  1. Rouge & Tonic: Combine 45 ml of Citadelle Rouge with ice in a highball glass, top up with Yuzu Tonic Water, and garnish with a fresh raspberry.
  2. Rouge Collins: Shake 50 ml of Citadelle Rouge, 15 ml of sugar syrup, and 25 ml of fresh lemon juice. Pour over ice in a highball glass, top with soda water, and garnish with lemon peel.
  3. Spritz ‘n’ Berry: Mix 40 ml of Citadelle Rouge and 20 ml of Raspberry Liqueur in a wine glass, top with sparkling wine, and garnish with fresh mint.
