The Fullerton Hotel Singapore Introduces ‘For the Love of Chocolate’ Afternoon Tea Experience

Chocolate lovers and dessert aficionados are in for a treat at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. From July 5 to October 3, 2024, The Courtyard will host a new afternoon tea experience, ‘For the Love of Chocolate,’ celebrating one of the world’s most beloved culinary delights.

Guests will indulge in an array of freshly crafted chocolate-themed pastries, complemented by a selection of pralines and chocolate truffles from a brand-new Chocolate Trolley. This experience promises to elevate afternoon tea to new heights of luxury and delight.

Special Live Dessert Station for World Chocolate Day

To mark World Chocolate Day on July 7, The Fullerton Hotel will feature a Dessert Live Station from July 5 to 7. Guests can watch as the pastry chef skillfully prepares the Enchanted Chocolate Forest, a stunning plated dessert created especially for the occasion.

Exquisite Pastries Paired with Nature’s Sweetness

Highlights of the menu include:

  • The Cherry: A blend of Morello cherry and Guanaja chocolate crème on buttery chocolate sablé, adorned with edible blooms.
  • The Lemon: Silky lemon ivory chocolate curd on almond frangipane, topped with rosella flower meringue.
  • The Hazelnut: A dark chocolate choux pastry with crunchy hazelnut praline and cocoa biscuit.

Savory and Sweet Delights

Six savory pastries accompany the sweet treats, featuring:

  • Roasted Prime Beef with Sauerkraut and Manjari Cacao Nibs.
  • Norwegian Smoked Trout with Cream Cheese and Raspberry Inspiration couverture.

Classic finger sandwiches such as Coronation Egg Salad and Cucumber Sandwich with Dill Cream Cheese are also on offer.

The Debut of the Chocolate Trolley

Adding to the indulgence, the Chocolate Trolley will feature an assortment of confectioneries like sea salt caramel almonds and blackcurrant pralines, offering bite-sized delights to enhance the afternoon experience.

Special World Chocolate Day Dessert

During the World Chocolate Day celebration, guests will enjoy the Enchanted Chocolate Forest. This beautiful dessert features creamy chocolate crémeux, brittle dark chocolate shards, nitrogen chocolate soil, and cocoa-dusted meringue ‘mushrooms,’ paired with raspberry crème, Kirsch-steeped Morello cherries, smoked caramel, and Chantilly cream.
