2nd Gen K-Pop Sensation ‘HIGHLIGHT’ Returns to Singapore for Highly Anticipated Asia Tour

After three sold-out nights in Seoul, K-pop boy group HIGHLIGHT, formerly known as BEAST, is bringing their electrifying Asia tour to Singapore. CK Star Entertainment is thrilled to present the final stop of their tour, “HIGHLIGHT LIVE 2024 [LIGHTS GO ON, AGAIN] IN SINGAPORE,” scheduled for September 8, 2024 (Sunday), at 7 PM at Singapore EXPO Hall 7.

From BEAST to HIGHLIGHT: A Journey of Success

Debuting in 2009 under the name BEAST, the group quickly rose to prominence with their unique sound, self-producing talents, and captivating performances. In 2017, members Yoon Dujun, Yang Yoseop, Lee Gikwang, and Son Dongwoon formed their own label, “Around US Entertainment,” and rebranded as HIGHLIGHT.

Their second EP, “Shock Of The New Era” (2010), was a major hit, with the standout track “Shock” peaking at number two on South Korea’s Gaon Music Chart (now Circle Chart) and earning them their first music show win on Mnet’s M!Countdown.

Major Milestones and Achievements

In May 2011, HIGHLIGHT released their first studio album, “Fiction and Fact,” featuring the hit track “Fiction.” The song’s success was monumental, with over 37.5 million streams on Spotify and more than 133 million views on YouTube. The album was the fifth best-selling album of 2011 in South Korea.

Their ninth EP, “Can You Feel It?” released in March 2017, saw the lead single “Plz Don’t Be Sad” topping major music charts and securing eight music show wins. Their latest release, “Switch On” (2024), continued this success with two major music show wins for the lead single “Body.”

Celebrating 15 Years with Fans

With 15 years of experience, HIGHLIGHT’s enduring career is a testament to the unwavering support of their fans, known as ‘Lights’ or ‘B2uty’. The group has garnered 40 accolades, over 60 music show wins, and nearly 90 major industry nominations. Notable awards include “Artist of the Year” at the 2011 and 2012 Melon Music Awards, “Song of the Year” for “Fiction” at the 2011 KBS Music Festival, and “Record of the Year” at the 2015 Seoul Music Awards.
