TOMA by the River is a new restaurant at Robertson Quay that opened recently in Singapore, offering modern European dining right by the water. It has a great location, but competition is also stiff in the vicinity, with several other similar culinary concepts.
Looking at the menu, TOMA features a mish-mash of different cuisines from Italian to English, primarily, safe and popular food items like pizzas, burgers as well as fish and chips. Think elevated bar food.
To stand out, TOMA is adopting a family and pet-friendly environment, welcoming guests to bring their kids as well as pets along when dining at TOMA.
For the little ones, kids get to eat free from TOMA’s kids menu with every paying adult from 25 May to 23 June as part of their opening promotions. For pets, water bowls are available upon request:
Seeking to cater to a wide, mass demographic, TOMAS provides service for breakfast, brunch, dinner, and cocktails. The family and pet-friendly environment welcomes guests looking to enjoy a tranquil afternoon or a laid-back evening, perfect for the expat crowd in the Robertson Quay area.
We were invited for a dinner tasting and these were the items we sampled:
As you can see, the items are all very safe options and crowd-pleasers for a cosy meal by the riverside, while enjoying a drink or two. While not exactly gourmet food, TOMA serves a wide variety of elevated comfort food that would satisfy most palates.
The key selling point here for TOMA would be it’s child and pets friendly policy, something that the family diners would appreciate in the Robertson Quay area.
To celebrate the opening, TOMA by the River offers several promotions:
