QT Hotels & Resorts to Debut in Singapore, Bringing Award-Winning Hospitality to Southeast Asia

QT Hotels & Resorts, a beloved brand in Australia and New Zealand, is set to make a splash in Southeast Asia with the opening of QT Singapore. This venture, part of EVT, a leading Australian hospitality company, promises to deliver an unparalleled blend of luxury and eccentricity.

QT Singapore marks the brand’s first foray outside Australia and New Zealand and will be housed in the historic former Hotel Telegraph. This culturally rich site is undergoing a full-scale refurbishment to transform it into a hub of playful luxury, renowned for QT’s distinctive design, immersive experiences, and exceptional service.

Strategically located next to Lau Pa Sat hawker centre in Singapore’s financial district, QT Singapore will offer both corporate and leisure guests convenient access to one of the city’s most vibrant areas. Designed in collaboration with renowned interior designer Nic Graham, the hotel will feature luxurious guest rooms and suites, a rooftop bar and pool, and a premium fitness facility. Public spaces will include a new signature bar and grill, bespoke dining options, and areas for intimate celebrations and business meetings.

QT Hotels & Resorts has built a reputation over the past decade for delivering unexpected and quirky guest experiences, each property infused with local influences and a unique personality. QT Singapore is set to continue this tradition, reflecting its surroundings with a blend of art, design, fashion, and innovation.

The hotel will retain the neo-classical façade and architecture of the original colonial heritage building, first built in 1927 and significant in Singapore’s telecommunications history. This transition to a designer QT hotel marks a new chapter for the historic property.

In conjunction with this international expansion, QT has appointed award-winning general manager Doron Whaite to lead QT Singapore. With 20 years of experience and numerous senior management roles across the Group, Whaite brings extensive expertise in venue opening and hotel transformation.

QT Singapore is set to officially open its doors at 35 Robinson Road on September 16, redefining hospitality in the heart of the city. Stay tuned for more details on the grand opening.
