EDITION Hotels has made a grand entrance into Southeast Asia with the launch of The Singapore EDITION. The event, held from May 9th to 12th, transformed the new boutique hotel into a hub of glamorous entertainment, attracting both international and local VIPs for a three-day festival of exclusive events.
The highlight of the weekend was the debut of Wonder Room, EDITION’s luxurious ‘micro club.’ Guests were treated to world-class performances and an after-hours nightcap in The Pink Room, an exclusive space for those truly in-the-know.
On the evening of May 11th, the festivities began at FYSH at EDITION, the hotel’s signature restaurant helmed by Australian star chef Josh Niland. Guests enjoyed a multi-course family-style dinner featuring Niland’s renowned fin-to-tail aged seafood and zero waste philosophy. The menu included Mooloolaba Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, a selection of FYSH Charcuterie, and show-stopping mains like Charcoal Grilled Aquna Murray Cod and Glazed Blackmore’s Wagyu Beef Chuck Rib. The meal was paired with Australian wines, Giant Steps Chardonnay 2022 and Giant Steps Primavera Pinot Noir 2022. Desserts featured indulgent creations like a 64% Manjari Valrhona Chocolate Tart with Kaviari caviar and Apple Tart Tatin with charcoal grilled celeriac custard.
The evening continued with lively DJ sets by Nicolette and Yafith in the Lobby Bar, where guests enjoyed signature cocktails and passed canapés. As the party gained momentum, guests descended the statement staircase to the subterranean floor for the after party, which featured three high-energy spaces: Punch Room, Wonder Room, and The Pink Room.
Punch Room, inspired by 19th-century London private clubs, served authentic silver punch bowls to a hip hop soundtrack. Wonder Room, the luxurious new ‘micro club,’ redefined luxury music and cultural experiences with plush red velvet drapes, cozy armchairs, and intimate booths. Entertainment in Wonder Room included Mantravine’s neo-shamanic rhythms, a live performance by Singaporean singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono, and a high-energy set by Japanese musician and DJ Mademoiselle Yulia.
The celebration concluded with a nightcap in The Pink Room, a secret spot for the most in-the-know guests.
On the final day, guests enjoyed recovery and relaxation at The Spa at EDITION, followed by a chilled-out poolside brunch at ROOF, the hotel’s hidden rooftop oasis on Cuscaden Road.
The launch of The Singapore EDITION and its Wonder Room marks a new era of luxury and exclusivity in Singapore.
