Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled a series of immersive and destination-rich itineraries for the inaugural Asia Pacific season of the Norwegian Sun in 2025. These voyages mark NCL’s first foray into the region, featuring several brand-new routes and ports of call.
Norwegian Sun will make its Australian debut in December 2024, with arrivals in Brisbane on the 18th and Melbourne on the 21st, following an 18-day voyage from Papeete through French Polynesia and the South Pacific. This exciting journey includes 10 ports of call and sets the stage for a diverse range of new itineraries.
NCL introduces three new itineraries to the Great Barrier Reef and South Pacific, including the first turnarounds in Cairns and Lautoka, Australia. Additional highlights include island-hopping cruises in French Polynesia between Fiji and Tahiti, and two new Asia sailings.

Setting sail on April 9, 2025, this route features overnight stays in Bali and Lombok, and a full day at Komodo. The voyage continues to Cooktown, Townsville, Airlie Beach, and Port Douglas, offering opportunities to explore the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach.
