Meatsmith and Burnt Ends Bakery Delight Diners at Pullman Singapore Orchard

Earlier in January, culinary enthusiasts in Singapore were treated to an unforgettable dining experience at Pullman Singapore Orchard as Meatsmith and Burnt Ends Bakery, both under the esteemed Burnt Ends Hospitality Group, came together for a two-week residency at Eden Restaurant in the hotel.

Meatsmith Takes Center Stage at Eden Restaurant

From January 8 to 20, Eden Restaurant at Pullman Singapore Orchard played host to Meatsmith, renowned for its mouthwatering South American BBQ smoked meats.

Diners indulged in a fusion of American smokehouse barbecues with an Asian twist, curated exclusively for this collaboration. Meatsmith’s signature meats, such as beef brisket and smoked pork ribs, were also on offer, alongside delectable starters like Scotch quail eggs and pork belly burnt ends.

Highlights included the Pullman Burger, featuring 8-hour braised pork belly and Sarawak slaw, and the Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak with Sichuan and Coriander Chimichurri.

We were invited for a dinner tasting and these were the items we sampled:

The Pullman Platter – Corn Bread and Smoked Butter, Crab Cakes, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Lamb Satay, Shrimp Paste Chicken, Beef Short-Rib Rendang
Corn Bread
Meatsmith Wagyu Burger – Double Patty, Double Cheese, Burger Sauce and Pickles
Even the drink features a slice of meat
Beef Brisket – Brandt USDA Choice, 14-hour Smoked, Salt & Pepper Rub, BBQ Sauce, Slaw
Kale and Feta Salad
Pastrami Mac and Cheese
Homemade Oreo Mud Pie
Roasted Marshmallows
Lemon Meringue Pie
Peach Cobbler

As you can see, it was clearly meat overload! This would be an absolute delight for meat lovers to enjoy their favourite cuts, grilled to perfection and served at the fresh new Eden Restaurant.

Exclusive Wine Pairing Dinner and Weekend Bakery Pop-Up

On January 11, guests were treated to a special six-course American wine pairing dinner at Eden Restaurant, showcasing hearty Meatsmith fare alongside a selection of American wines. Neil Simon Claudio, Head of Beverage from Burnt Ends Hospitality Group, led the immersive dining experience, which featured signature dishes like their Portoro ribeye and chipotle pork ribs.

Weekends saw the Atelier Lounge come alive with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods from Burnt Ends Bakery. On January 13, 14, 20, and 21, patrons indulged in a wide array of treats, including the bakery’s famed flavoured donuts, beautiful berry tarts, and savoury pies and rolls.

Future Culinary Experiences

Although the Meatsmith and Burnt Ends Bakery residency has concluded, diners can look forward to more curated culinary experiences at Pullman Singapore Orchard in the future. Stay tuned for announcements of upcoming events and collaborations that promise to surprise and delight food enthusiasts via the official website.
