Escape the urban hustle and immerse yourself in a serene retreat at the newly unveiled Citadines Science Park Singapore. Nestled within the vibrant Singapore Science Park district, this latest addition to Ascott’s portfolio of service apartments offers a revitalising stay that seamlessly blends nature with contemporary comfort.
Citadines Science Park Singapore marks Ascott’s 7th Citadines property in Singapore. The property offers 250 designed rooms spread across levels 10 to 15 of the Geneo complex which also houses the home-grown tech startup, Shopee.
Stepping into Citadines Science Park Singapore, you will be enveloped in a tranquil ambiance inspired by the lush greenery that thrives amidst urban landscapes.
Designed by Serie + Multiply Architects and Ascott’s in-house Interior Design team, the property draws inspiration from the concept of a greenhouse, infusing natural elements throughout its aesthetic.
The property offers 7 different room types, ranging from 20sqm to 34spm in size, including the fancier option of an Executive Loft that features the sleeping area on the second floor.
For our staycation, my son Asher and I stayed in a 34sqm 1-bedroom Executive room which comes equipped with a fully furnished kitchen for meal preparation and a separate work area.
For the common residents’ areas, key highlights include the property’s verdant central gardens and a 25-metre infinity swimming pool.
Other onsite amenities include a Residents’ Lounge, Shared Working Space, Meeting Rooms, Launderette, Outdoor Barbecue, Fitness Corner, and a food and beverage outlet for the convenience of guests.
During our stay, we enjoyed a cosy poolside barbecue experience by the pool while admiring the sunset view.
We had our breakfast at the common area the next day:
Tthe Kent Ridge MRT station is a short 5-minute walk away, connecting you to the rest of the city or to easily explore nearby attractions like Star Vista and Holland Village.
For those who enjoys nature, you can take picturesque nature walks through Kent Ridge and West Coast Parks which are within walking distance.
For food and entertainment, the bustling Timbre+ One North is a short walking distance away and you can head there for your food and drinks plus live entertainment.
Eco-conscious travelers will also appreciate Citadines Science Park Singapore’s commitment to sustainability, with energy-saving initiatives and a BCA Green Mark Platinum SLE certification.
Additionally, the property offers low-carbon mobility options, including bicycle lots and electric vehicle charging stations, in alignment with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030.
