Revitalized CQ @ Clarke Quay: A New Dawn for Singapore’s Riverside Lifestyle Scene

CQ @ Clarke Quay has emerged from a transformative makeover, heralding a new era for one of Singapore’s most cherished waterfront destinations. Owned by CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT) and managed by CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI), the rejuvenated precinct now stands as a bustling day-and-night hotspot, boasting a vibrant array of dining, retail, and entertainment options.

The unveiling ceremony, graced by Ms. Low Yen Ling, Minister of State for Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and Ministry of Trade & Industry, marked a milestone in the evolution of Clarke Quay. Attendees were treated to a spectacle of entertainment, including a drone show narrating the area’s storied past to its current lively ambiance.

The revamped CQ @ Clarke Quay is divided into three distinct zones catering to different experiences. The Riverfront area offers riverside dining amid alfresco settings, while The Warehouses present a blend of retail, lifestyle, and F&B concepts within conserved spaces. The Circuit zone pulses with high-energy entertainment options.

Among the new offerings are Fairprice Finest Clarke Quay, Swee Lee Clarke Quay, and LAVA, promising unique experiences ranging from curated culinary delights to immersive musical encounters and wellness journeys.

For those seeking nocturnal adventures, CQ @ Clarke Quay doesn’t disappoint. From authentic Mexican cuisine at Señor Taco to futuristic-themed karaoke rooms at K.STAR Karaoke, the precinct offers a diverse array of late-night entertainment options.

But the transformation of CQ @ Clarke Quay isn’t just about entertainment; it’s about inclusivity too. The precinct now boasts a comprehensive suite of pet-friendly amenities, ensuring that visitors and their furry friends can enjoy the riverside experience together. Plans for the future include the Fort Canine Swimming Club, catering exclusively to the needs of canine companions.

Preserving the area’s rich heritage while embracing modernity was a key focus of the makeover. Restored warehouses and heritage jack roofs pay homage to Clarke Quay’s past, while sustainability features, including upgraded canopies and omni-directional fans, ensure a greener future for the precinct.

As CQ @ Clarke Quay invites visitors to rediscover its charms through a series of upcoming events and activations, including the CHANEL Parfumeur Masterclass and the Singapore HeritageFest, it promises to remain a vibrant hub of activity, welcoming locals and tourists alike to indulge in its eclectic offerings and captivating ambiance.
