LEGOLAND School Challenge 2024 Opens Doors to Singaporean Builders Offering Over SGD25,000 Worth of Prizes

Calling all budding builders and LEGO enthusiasts in Singapore! Prepare to unleash your creativity as the LEGOLAND School Challenge 2024 returns, inviting schools from across Asia to participate in this exciting competition. Registration for this year’s challenge opens on April 15th through the LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort website, offering students and teachers the opportunity to showcase their LEGO building skills and imagination.

In an expansion from previous years, schools from various Asian countries, including China, Taiwan, India, Korea, and Japan, are invited to join alongside participants from Southeast Asia. The theme for this year’s challenge is ‘World of Fantasy,’ encouraging participants to create imaginative and fantastical LEGO creations such as magical castles, soaring dragons, and enchanted forests. With prizes worth over SGD25,000 (RM100,000) up for grabs, winning teams will earn a chance to attend a special LEGO building workshop led by a Master Model Builder at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, along with other exciting learning programs.

Singaporean students and teachers can once again participate in the LEGOLAND School Challenge, with both primary (7 to 12 years old) and secondary (13 to 17 years old) school students eligible to form teams with their classmates and teachers to bring their fantasy world visions to life.

Since its inception in 2022, the LEGOLAND School Challenge has captured the imaginations of students and educators alike, fostering creativity and teamwork through LEGO building. Past themes such as “Pride of Your State” and “Future Cities” have inspired remarkable creations, with participation levels skyrocketing each year. In 2023, the competition received a remarkable 80% increase in submissions from across the ASEAN region, indicating its growing popularity and impact.

How to Enter

1. Form a team consisting of 4-8 students and 2 teachers.
2. Register online between April 15th and May 24th via the LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort website.
