As the holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, Emirates Airlines gears up to celebrate Eid al Fitr in grand style, offering passengers a feast for the senses both onboard and in its luxurious lounges. From tantalizing flavors to captivating entertainment options, Emirates promises an unforgettable Eid experience for travelers.
Eid Delights Onboard
From April 10th to 13th, Economy Class passengers departing from Dubai will be treated to a culinary journey featuring traditional Eid favorites. Options include mouthwatering chicken biryani with crispy fried onions or tender lamb kibbeh labanieh with vermicelli rice. Dessert offerings include a halwa brownie with cardamom sauce and a decadent chocolate mousse topped with batheeth crumble.
Premium Economy and Business Class travelers can savor dishes like traditional chicken mashwi el jeder or indulgent fish matfy in a spiced tomato sauce. Desserts feature a fragrant pistachio and hibiscus namoura or a luscious vanilla and rose mousse cake.
First Class passengers will enjoy crafted dishes such as hammour matfy or succulent lamb kebabs marinating in spicy tomato butter. Eid desserts include a vanilla and rose mousse cake with pistachio anglaise and fresh berries or a warm orange blondie served with a white chocolate and vanilla cream tart.
All passengers will receive a special Eid treat with their meal, accompanied by a sweet pumpkin Asseda and an additional almond apricot tart for Premium Economy, Business, and First Class travelers.
In the A380 onboard lounge, passengers can indulge in Emirati pastries and Arabic coffee, or enjoy a slice of pistachio cake with cream cheese or saffron and cardamom cake.
Eid Extravaganza in Emirates Lounges
Emirates Lounges in Dubai will also serve up Eid favorites for travelers. First Class customers can explore a wide selection of options including Arabic coffee, jallab, and kamarruddin juice, along with hot and cold Arabic mezzeh and delectable sweet treats.
Business Class lounges will offer classic chicken khabsa and a range of tempting desserts throughout the day, including date mammoul, baklava pecan rolls, and saffron bassbousa.
Entertainment Galore on Emirates ICE
Passengers traveling over Eid al Fitr can enjoy a plethora of entertainment options on Emirates’ award-winning ice. With up to 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment, including over 100 Arabic films and 46 channels of Arabic TV series, travelers are spoilt for choice. New releases like “Amakor,” “El Saf El Akheer,” and “Al Masafa Sefr” will be available, along with Hollywood blockbusters and Arabic music channels.
